I think it's safe to say that both my tank and my photography skills have improved significantly over the past few months. Here are some pics to prove this claim:

January 2006 (new tank, first pics)

February 2006 (School must have been exceptionally crazy - no new pics)

Please let me know what you think in regards to the tank and photos. All opinions welcome, and thanks!

Thanks! Yes, that's a large crocea (about 8" long). There are three clams in the tank - two crocea and one maxima.

Hey Kayla. Tank looks great! As well as your photo skills. Keep up both.

PS- You need to visit Ohio now because Phishy Business opened up a store front...... so COME VISIT!

Thanks, Jordo. Oooh, I do need to check out PB! Perhaps a college visit would be a good enough excuse? ;)

well. guess it growa on acrylic better?
Honestly, I'm not sure if that's the case, but I have been trying to keep the Ca above 420, and I haven't ever cleaned the back walls.

Looks very nice... I'd like to see the last one with a little more light. Looks dark and dreary...Just my thoughts...

Thanks for the advice! I've grappled with finding the proper exposure level thanks to the extreme amount of light produced by the MH; most of the pics come out either too washed out or too dark, IMO.

Here's another pic taken at the same time, but I didn't decrease the exposure as much...do you like this better?
