Project 1 smalish 1100 gallon fish only with life rock

What's the stocking list going to be ? Is that finalised now ?
What are you doing with. Live rock and sand bed.

Very cool tank

today we finished the complete glass work and casing. Now the patience work will start 1 month curing. In about 2 weeks from now we will complete filtration below the tank place chiller and lights and start with aqua scaping.
This a little picture so you guys have an idea on where the tank is located..... as you can see its outside

the orange frame was a request of the client as his company logo (and basically everything else in it) is orange. So light box that will be hanging over the aquarium will also be orange just in case you guys wondered what the orange lining was about hahaha.

Confident..... Casing installed before full water test? Curious to know silicone brand? Is bottom eurobraced? Is owner fond of snokeling ? how long of cure? Can't wait to see running :)

yes bottom and top both fully braced
Owner doesnt like to snorkel but I am sure he would love to see us snorkel as we will take care of full maintenance too

Wonderful build. I could only dream of having a tank this big. I thought upgrading to my 240g was huge. Lol

while we keep waiting for the proper curing time some more equipment started rolling in.

the 4 main pumps are already installed in the sump so are gone already
the 3 skimmer have the bodies also installed already and still need the pumps and heads installed.

Any reason you didn't go with the RW20s?

Thinking of swapping my WP60s and WP40s out with RW20s.

Just replaced one dead WP40 with a RW20.

Have debated the RW20 but its the amount of pumps I think 6 total RW20 would be way over kill I could maybe have gone with 3 RW20 but I thought I could get more overall spread with 6 slightly smaller with the RW15 spread out more. Those RW15 have also an awesome push though dont mind that I have them in my 11Ft system at home and boy they push right through that system.

Thanks have 2 WP60s and 4 WP40s on our display, was thinking on just putting in RW20s when the WPs burn out for all the pumps. Just replaced one WP40 with a RW20, but haven't installed it.

Hope it's not too much flow... but I guess you can dial it back...
