everything is so clean looking. Do you have pics of how the skimmer is being fed from your return pump?

thanks joe, right now the skimmer isnt being fed from the dart.i am using my old rs80 for the moment and it just has a sedra 3500 pump on it.i still dont have my skimmer pump so im using the rs80 just to skim something rather than nothing at all.

So did you order your recir pump then? I thought the main flow from your skimmer was going to be powered by the return? So couldn't you just use that new bigger skimmer now and then add in the recirc pump later?

the pump is ordered and will be in next week.the skimmer will be fed from the return pump, the skimmer i have doesnt have a pump so i cant run it,i need the eheim.

i just got done coating the inside of the hood, now just need to stain it.i will do the stain later today after the kilz dries.

i think the hood will be on the tank by wednesday :) im am soooo happy, cant wait to see it on top of the tank and off of my garage floor.

Chris did you finish the canopy this afternoon? And why wednesday? Do you have more work to do after the staining? Or will the staining process just take that long?

wednesday just gives time for the stain to dry good and me to get it done.

thanks marino, ill get some pics up of the hood once its done on wednesday night.i got one coat of clear on tonight and will sand and clear again tomorrow night.

Marino, we have a good club here. And we all seem to do a fair amount of research and since I have stumbled onto your thread and copied it so many people have asked me how I did it. So I passed them onto your thread. Probably shouldnt have, but why not share the wealth. Chris' and mine turned out pretty good, I think you would be proud!! Thanks again for the idea. Hows your tank doing?

What was the link to that site with the stand blueprint? I saw you post it in another thread awhile back but I can't seem to find it again

I agree, your stands turned out very nice. And your tank looks good too.

My tank is doing great. I think I finally got my CA reactor dialed in and I haven't added any livestock. Just letting it all grow in at the moment. Kind of like watching paint dry as it never seems to grow fast enough. Especially when you check them everyday!

I originally planned to go with a 150 the same size as this tank. The extra foot in length would be nice. But it would have taken up too much space in my room. I'm very jealous :)

last night i got the achilles tang in my tank.there was some tang warfare during the night and my mimic tang suffered the majority of the wounds, but they seem to be getting along fine now and swimming together at times.so here he is the healthiest achilles ive ever seen in a tank...........

very nice, looks light a lot more corals in there since the last time I was there, how about a full tank shot.
