Project: Elegance Rescue

Keep us posted, still looks like a fox, JMO. If it's a fox it should recover and take a brownish tone. Good luck

This thread interests me so I am following it closely. I see more elements that remind me of a fox coral each time. The lack of tentacles on any part of the rim, and general length versus width influence me that way. I hope it is a fox for your sake, and good luck with it.

OK been about 3 weeks. So heres and an update.....

Elegance is recovering ! NOT fully recovered by any means but is definitely better. Oral disk do longer over inflates and has some very definite tentacles.
Pics not the best but you can see the tentacles.
I have not gotten it to eat any meaty foods, but does seem to enjoy the coral food (DT's, cyclopese, brine etc)I spray over it.

Hey Sharkbait you and I are in the same boat :) I have one that was aussie from a very very trusted LFS and yet it exhibited the signs of elegance coral disease. Now it is very very slowly coming back.

Mine never got bleached out but on some days has tentacles showing and other days looks ticked off. I try to feed when I see its in a position to take food.

I'll cross my fingers for you if you cross yours for me :)

I have to say, I am totally impressed with what you have done for this Elegance. Now all it needs is time, good conditions, and no changes. Especially in lighting. Great job!
