Proper iodine levels for shrimp

I want to get a postol shrimp, but every crab/shrimp Iv had has died and I found out this was due to a lack of iodine dosing.

All I can find online is "Keep them sufficient".

What an exact range in ppm?

There is no evidence to show that shrimp need iodine, it has only been shown that excessive iodine may cause a premature shedding of exoskeleton.

After careful consideration, I don't dose Iodine in my tanks at all. Any needs I may have are taken care of by water changes. No problems with shrimps.
