Protein skimmer brand

I'm looking to upgrade my skimmer immediately. Based on recommendations from RC members I decided to go with an Aquamaxx Cone CO1. I ordered it last week from Marine Depot and now it won't be in until the end of September...can't wait that long. I also looked for Aquamaxx EM200 but no one seems to have them in stock either.
Can anyone recommend a skimmer that is comparable? I need a small footprint. Thanks!

i like my Reef Octopus quite a bit.

it replaced a CoraLife 125 that i despised, and barely worked.

The CS1 is rated for 25-80 gallons. Would this be too small? I've read that most ratings are under rated.

The CS 1 is rated to 150. Not 80

Yep, got that. The 35-80 gallon specs was for a CS3.5, not the CS1. I'm researching the CS1 now.

It's a solid performing skimmer. It pulled dark gunk out of an old tank of mine. You won't regret it.

Just bought a Seaside Aquatic CS6. CS1 was back ordered:( Thank you to everyone that gave their advice! :)

Solid choice!

More traditional design and should skim your system well. The CS series have a cool (kind of redundant) vibration dampening design using the rubber feet and their custom pump mount inside. It should be super quiet!

Let us know how it performs
