Protein skimmer questions help please

Hey guys I have a reef octopus classic 1000 HOB and the past few days it's been giving off a lot of airation threw the return and making my whole tank have little airation bubbles all over....Now does anyone no how to fix this problem or is this normal? It's been running for about 2 months now and only took it off to clean once so far. And it seems like it isn't collecting as much as it used to as well.

Remove it and clean it completely again.. (vinegar/water bath)

Sometimes that happens though if you have been dosing into the tank,etc...

Well I no I just added a new phosban reactor with Boi pellets. I've never had one before do you think that could be the problem? And alright I'll take it off and give it a nice cleaning

And assuming it started with the addition of the biopellets I would just give it time to clear up..
It can take a few days to stop the microbubbles..

Yup. Skimmers do odd things any time you make a change to the water chemistry. Time is usually your best friend.
