protien skimmer problems need help

I have a berlin turbo protien skimmer and it recently decided it wanted to skim straight water into the waste bucket. it started out bust when doing water top offs now it is all the time. it is pumping a gallon of water in 5 minutes-1 hour. I have even shut the air valve completely and it still does it. HELP!!!!!!

it is not getting air induction added to the mix. Check your air valve/tube and air muffler. next would be to check the return pipe for any obstructions or reduced flow patterns.

My rule of thumb is look for the simple things first. That is what it is the majority of the time.

return pipes are open and if i open up the air valve it gets worse

Something is either plugging the returns or your not completely shutting the air off......shut the white turn knob completely off and the turn the other white knob under it completely off.....then you can regulate them

Just Mod that air intake...it will work so much better...
Where are you located??
