protien skimmer questions

I am wondering if anyone locally is running a reef octopus diablo dc pump protein skimmer? Or is anyone using a recirculating protein skimmer? I am looking at those as options for my 240 build. I am curious of how well they work. any problems.

I run a R.O. Diablo sump space saver. Works well for the $.

I have the POV-DC2 skimmer and so far I am happy with it.
