I noticed within the last two weeks or so, one head here, one head there on my Hammers and Frogspawn dissapearing. I thought maybe one or two were sick, but the more time I took spanning the tank, I found that it was becoming an epidemic.
Last night I found that my shelf hammer was starting to reseed at one of its bends, then I knew for a fact that some sort of Protozoanal problem reared its ugly head.
What Im wondering is, why now? Nothing new was added, water qual is fine so I cant really pin point it. To boot, I never really had something like this happen, I never had any coral disease before (guess Im REAAAALLLYYY Lucky). Also, why is it sticking to just the hammers and frogspawns? If its a euphillia disease, then my torches would have been effected, but they havent. Other then my hammers and frogspawns, I have fox coral, some SPS, favias, shrooms, clams and an anemone. All of which are fine.
So, is this something that just comes on? What brings it on? And why is it only affecting my Froggies and Hammers?
