Protozoan Disease Singled Out Euphillia?

I noticed within the last two weeks or so, one head here, one head there on my Hammers and Frogspawn dissapearing. I thought maybe one or two were sick, but the more time I took spanning the tank, I found that it was becoming an epidemic.

Last night I found that my shelf hammer was starting to reseed at one of its bends, then I knew for a fact that some sort of Protozoanal problem reared its ugly head.

What Im wondering is, why now? Nothing new was added, water qual is fine so I cant really pin point it. To boot, I never really had something like this happen, I never had any coral disease before (guess Im REAAAALLLYYY Lucky). Also, why is it sticking to just the hammers and frogspawns? If its a euphillia disease, then my torches would have been effected, but they havent. Other then my hammers and frogspawns, I have fox coral, some SPS, favias, shrooms, clams and an anemone. All of which are fine.

So, is this something that just comes on? What brings it on? And why is it only affecting my Froggies and Hammers?

I guess Im assuming its a disease, it was the only thing that made sense to me. I know that when I stick my hand in the tank, sometimes I get stung REALLY bad by some unseen "thing" that resides in the tank. It almost looks like a pattern, like an "S" shape across my forearm.
Im not sure if that has something to do with it. But that has been going on for about a year now. This is very new, the last month or so some heads just go south.
And it happens very quickly. One day one of the heads is fine, the next it wont open very much, then on day 3, its almost totally hanging off the skeleton. No brown jelly, just a little slime cause the head is stressed and dying.

Im not sure what it is. I did a iodine dip last night hoping that will help. Any other input would be great if anyone has seen this before.

Take a flashlight to your tank after the lights in the tank and the room have been out for a while.

You may be allergic to something in the water, but that just doesn't sound right for you to get stung like that.

I think if it was a disease, it would affect all the heads? Are there areas in the tank that would suggest a range area from a stinging tentacle from perhaps this mysterious creature (if it's not a disease).

I'm no expert, but I can only think of a powerful sting making a coral die that fast. I was tank sitting a buddies tank and in one day a whole 5" diameter sps head sloughed it's flesh off from getting too close to a neighboring head...

When I noticed it, it was just on my white hammer which is on the right hand side of the tank. Then at a closer look, I found that the hammers/frogs on the left side of the tank had the same oddity happening as well. And thats about 6 feet away. The only sweeping coral I have is a small Galaxia, which isnt the problem being that TOPS its sweepers are 4" cause its just a baby.

I think I MAY have an allergic reaction to certain coral stings, that could be my problem. But I have taken a light to the tank about 4 hrs after the lights go out, and I never saw a thing. I tried many different times to catch something that I have never seen but no luck. Im at a loss :(
