Proud New Parents(Of Eggs) With Video

So after only 4 1/2 months this two got it figured out and laid their first batch of eggs! I'm pretty excited, makes me feel like the tank must be going in the right direction. One other strange thing that is going on with this pair is there is a third clown in the tank with them that they don't seem to mind. I even caught all three of them sleeping in the LTA a couple of nights ago.

Kind of a strange pair these two, the male a miss bar black and white, the female came to me via an emergency adoption from a local reefer, also the reason that there are three in the tank. Any way she has a missed up lower front fin (similar to Nemo's) and she is missing a giant chunk out of her top fin.

WOW!Good vid!Looks like this is the very first bathch so not a very high rate of survival this time! They will get better as time goes on.The size will also become bigger to.

Well the last clutch of eggs hatched out on the night off the 14th, I never got to see anything as the lights were out and by morning all the little guys where gone RIP. So If I got my timeline right they laid on the 6th and hatched out on the 14th roughly 9 days. So I was awaiting for the 20th which would have been the 14 day mark for them to lay again. On the evening of the 17th at about 6:30 I was pleasantly surprised to see them in the act of spawning. Got out the camera and caught a little of it. Sorry for the dirty glass I didn't want to interrupt them with the mag float. Enjoy!

Well they seem to have a good rhythm done as this batch hatched 9 days later on the 26th 9 days later, and they spawned again two days later on the 28th. Might just have to give raising these little guys a shot.
