PSA: Philips Coralcare

I speak from my own experience, I keep my led fixtures for a long time. Such as I am still running 5 years old AI Sol and they are on their 2nd set of led chips.
Radion lost intensity very fast if you really want to know and that is one of the reason I no longer use any Radion.
Kessil as well, even worse, the tiny LED dots burnt out but you wont notice them as they clustered together.

I've got 10 Kessil 360WE's over my tank. 4 of which I had on my tank 2 years since they were first released. I had 8 but sold 4 when I got 6 new ones. The 6 new ones matches my original ones perfectly in terms of par and color. Not only have they not lost intensity according to my par meter which has the same PAR numbers as when I set them up but to my eyes the colors haven't shifted at all and perfectly match each other. O2manyfish (Dave) on the forum is local friend of mine. He's got 8 Radion Pros that he's had on his tank for a couple years and his have held their color and intensity just fine as well. His tank is 400 gallons and I don't think there is a person on this forum who wouldn't kill to have the success and SPS growth that he has in his tank 2 years after switching to Radions only. I know several others who haven't experienced what you are experiencing. I'm not sure about your issues with Kessils or AI's let alone Radions but I don't know anybody who shares your experience. Granted, I don't know anybody running AI Sols so those may be a different story.

I have three Kessil A360we's. One is several years old and the other two are within months of each other. I see no loss of intensity/color with any of my Kessils. They just work SPS/LPS/Softies. It just takes time to find the sweet spot.

One to two years is too short to see the failure rate and significant decrease in intensity.

Back to Coral Care, if they want to really make a splash they need to sell them with a 5 Year Warranty like there commercial light fixtures.

Yeah, it makes one wonder - if they do it with their other LED fixtures in the same housing, why not do it for the CoralCare fixture? Diodes not as robust?

Doing so would be really something to trumpet!
