Public Aquariums - Near WNY?

Looking for something new to do for date night... Are there any good public reef aquariums with in 2 or 3 hours of Buffalo? We'd do residential as long as the admission fee isn't to high...

We called the one state side and they are raising funds for a reef project but don't have an actual reef aquarium set up yet. Just a fresh water 3 eyed fish display they pulled out of the river... (went to school in the falls.. )

closest best public aquarium would be the New England Aquarium in Boston.

Shedd in Chicago is great.... so is the National Aquarium in Baltimore.

some LFS are almost as good as public aquariums, in my opinion!
