that's right. copper and hypo cannot be combined. i think most people's (including mine) recommendation is avoiding copper on puffers as much as possible as they are scaleless and are very sensitive to copper. I lost my dogfaced puffer to copper.
if you still would like to continue with copper, i'd suggest taking at least 4 days to ramp up and only go as high as 0.35ppm, instead of the 0.5ppm instructed on the bottle.
