I have a red metallic BTA that hasn't eaten in just over a week and around the mouth has been puffy for a week now. Last night it crawled into a hole in the rock and i took it out this morning and separated it in a hang on specimen container with holes drilled through. Don't know what's bothering the little guy, any suggestions?

I've fed it a small piece of silverside and it moved it around but I later found it on the ground next to the BTA. I haven't found anything on Karen's website that explains what is happening to the BTA..

Can you post pictures? I reccomed that you dont feed silversides. A lot of us here on rc have lost nems to silversides. Try feeding small pieces of frozen krill. Putting the nem in the container probobly is not the best thing for it. That will probobly stress it out. are you acclimating it to your lights?
