Pump anti vibration pad.

Recently bought a Quiet One 6000 return pump. It came with a self stick anti-vibration pad. The instructions are sparse at best. The pad seems to be foam like a mousepad. Does anyone know if this pad is safe for in sump use or only for external use?

Should be fine. My in sump skimmer has a foam pad on the pump mounting plate, no issues.
