Pump for ETSS 800 question

An ETSS 800 came with an aquarium setup I purchased and the pump that came with it was an Iwaki wmd-30-rlxt. The manufacturer recommends the Iwaki 55-rlt. Do you think I can get away with using the 30-rlxt or should I go ahead and try to find me a 55-rlt? Thanks!

You need the extra pressure from 55 iwaki for the 800 to work correctly.

It requires 55 iwaki or equivalent to meet the rated performance. You can temporary use your 30 iwaki, take out some of bio balls and get some skimming out of that.

I'm running a turbo sea 790 and it needs more than that. the 55 or the blueline equivalent is what you need.
