pump recommendations for 135 gallon

I have a 135 gallon tank and I want a external pump to return the water from my sump in the tank. I am looking for a quiet pump and also one that does not give off to much heat. Any suggestions?

Eheim if you want a 'low flow' overflow...Velocity T4 if you want higher flow...

This might be a stupid question but people talk about open ended and closed end when they talk about their return. What do they mean by it. I set up my return with pvc pipe up to my tank and also used pvc (in which I drilled holes in) to create a support structure for the live rock. Is this considered closed end. Is the velocity T4 as quiet as the Eheim?

Closed loop is when the pumps intake and output are both in the display.

Thanks sjm. I also am looking for some great single ended metal halide bulbs. Preferably blue. Any suggestions.

For the return pump, a small iwaki or pan world. The small pumps do not have built in cooling fans, so they are that much more quiet.

For a blue metal halide...maye XM 20K??
