pump started to wine

It has developed a high pitched squeal, not terribly loud. Just started yesterday. I have another driver for it, but I am wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them and what was it? i do believe that the noise is coming from the driver not the pump itself.

bounce it around clean the back grill and oil it if it's external

Tunze.... right? The sound is coming from the driver but the problem is on the pump. Take the shroud off the pump and clean the prop and inside of the shroud and it should be all good.... it's probably a limpet or something.

I had an awaki external drive pump that started to whine and it was the actual pump portion of it not the motor. but what type of pump are you talking about?
