pumps for 210 gallon

I could use some advice on my current project. I am setting up a mixed reef 72" (L) x 24" (H)x 30" (W).

am thinking to add 2 Tunze 6095 Controllable, and 2 Hydor Koralia 1400
any ideas ?

I would go with something controllable. I had two 1400 Koralia's on my 75 and there were still dead spaces.
I went with two used MP10's and they have been great.

I went the vortech route, a pair of mp60 on my 10 ft tank

Not cheap but move a bunch of water and take up minimal room in tank. One pump will push water 6ft

Never owned tune stuff... I am sure excellent but no comment due to never owning

Tried korillia and wasn't all that impressed.

If money is tight start with a single mp60 and add another one at a later dat

On the 210 I had set up until earlier this year, I ran three tunze pumps for flow....

6155, 6205, and a 6105. The tunze 6105 was for water surface and the other two were on opposite ends of the tank facing towards each other. Random flow was provided by a tunze controller.

thanks Steve, mainly i'll keep LPS and softies. along with a few SPS.
now am thinking to add 2 6105 or just one mp60 , and add more pumps as my coral grows.

Hi,

My system volume is same as yours. Keeping LPS, soft and some SPS. Plan to upgrade with 2 x 6105 and maybe one smaller power head.

What is your flow of return pump?

Thanks & Regards
