Ok, I was asking because the 100 GPD membranes are usually 90% rejection. I'm not sure how the water is in Tamarac but in Miami it's usually between 150 and 225 is, so a 100 GPD membrane is leaving behind 15 to 20 PPM, which should be cleaned up by your DI resins. The fact that you are running dual stage DI you should have absolutely zero so I wonder if you have them out of order or if water is somehow bypassing your DI stages.

Your DI stages should be after your membrane. Also, are they horizontal or vertical? Horizontal DI is sort of a joke because pretty quickly (in my experience) the water starts to just go around the resins as they shrink up and settle. A vertical DI with the water coming in from the bottom and exiting the top does a better job of forcing 100% of the water to pass the resins.

Hope this is helpful,

Mark

Sounds like it's time to replace your DI resin.
12 months is right about the mark for that, and you mentioneed earlier that your DI resin was at least a year old.

On a sidenote, I've been thinking of buying a 6 stage, 0ppm, reef/drinking water filter w/ storage tank & faucet from them for the kitchen.
Can't beat their price.
Has anyone had any longterm quality issues with their product?

Al, I believe the DI resin filter is directional and must be installed in the correct flow direction. Did you verify you installed it in the right direction?

If you are still getting TDS, contact the place you bought the filters from and see if they can help you.
