Joe,

Thank you for calling us regarding your order right away. We apologize for the condition your order arrived in and have extended your warranty period for an additional week. We have placed a credit on your customer file as per your conversation with one of our friendly LiveAquaria staff members. Please continue to keep us posted on the progress of your corals, we are always happy to help in any way we can.

After shipping it is not uncommon for the color of corals to fade. We recommend placing 5 to 10 layers of screening material above the new corals during the first few weeks. The screen could be made of egg crate light paneling or fiberglass mesh. The corals should be placed at the bottom, or bottom corner of your aquarium during this time. You will then remove one layer of the screening a day until the coral displays full coloration and appears to be fully expanded. Then slowly inch the coral to its preferred location over the next month or so. You may realize even better results by using half-light for the entire first week.

Light acclimation for corals is a slow process and can take up to a few months. Your patience will be rewarded when your corals are allowed to reach their full potential of beautiful, vibrant colors. Some of your new arrivals, though having had a rocky journey, will recover over time.

If there is anything else we can assist you with please contact us right away.

as you can tell from the pic its RTN and no saving the corals..Im assuming its from the cold water they were laying in when they were delivered....it was 4 degrees here and the heat packed were submerged under the water!
