Purple Algae, where are you

I have a 300 gallon system that has been running steady for over 2 years. Chemistry parameters are all great for the last 3 months since I decided to make a dedicated effort to get some purple algae. I do 10% water change each week, add Seachem Reef Advantage Calcium and Seachem Reef Builder to keep calcium and aklinity in check. I use Instant Ocean salt mix with RO water. It seems the coraline algae just won't grow. It is very, very slow. I've seen other systems that are one month old and they have coraline algae on the new pvc pipes yet my system is still struggling. Any suggestions?
Thanks Troy

I dose Kent Marine Strontium & Molybdenum (every two days) in my tank along with Iron (once a week), Calcium (everyday) and Iodine (one a week).

I see nothing but purple... And it started growing about 3 months after the tank started.

since you only started monitoring proper levels the past 3 months... give it 3 or 4 more... im at the 5 month mark and my coraline seems to grow exponentially...

I'm using a 14k double ended bulb (250 watt), 2 - 250 watt 12k mogul bulbs and 2 55 watt actinic compacts. All need to be replaced in the near future.
