Purple/blue gig updates

I would not Say its all algae, water quality is key and good skimming too,I am actually water Changing 2 to 3x a week but this forum is great, everybody helps each other out.

PTR,

would you mind listing the common/scientific names of some of the algae you've planted and had success growing? I'm going to do this on my 125 that's almost up and am looking for ideas on what does well.

I'm a big fan of my tank floor looking like a shallow ocean floor.

It is a caulerpa of some sort that does not produce asexually, but I would to with sea grass, bladed sea grass if available or maybe just do a separate refugium if you can build your sump that way so no need of troubles once the macroalgae takes off, growth that is.

The colors are better since I have changed 20 gallons of water today and been adding iodine once a week, for some reason everything has colored up and happier. I just need patience and time til it all recovers. I thinks its green Jared but taylor t told me that it maybe bleached.

More so water changes amoo but I have heard that iodine helps coloring up corals and nems. I thought would give it a try since my friend recommended it.

Looking stronger daily but keeping a close watch at him my friend, will keep you guys posted. Thanks Jared, bought it green but maybe rare yellow, that would be awesome. Yellow is doing quite well, seems to like his new home.
