Why dose vodka for zoas?

You can start dosing, just make sure to be patient and follow the directions on how to slowly increase the dosage.

Why dose vodka for zoas?

Less nutrients in the water means less brown zooxanthellae algae in your corals, the difference in my zoanthids was pretty significant along with quite a few other corals. When you start dosing the skimmer starts pulling out tons of gunk for weeks from inside your rocks, sandbed, etc that would otherwise just keep sitting there adding nutrients to your tank.
