Fully extended its about 3-3.5"
This is a captive bred RBTA. I purchased it from another hobbyist who's captive RBTA had split. So this is a strong RBTA.

JN, how much light does the purple enchino require to maintain color?

I have him in a 60 gallon tank, towards the side of the tank, mid-level under (2) 175W 14,000K Hamiltons. He does really well there.
