Purple Fire Fish

Hello,
Anybody see one of these at a LFS. Nobdy around me has them. When your not looking they are everywhere now that i'm looking I can't find one.

Petfun in Naperville has them all the time. They are at the intersection of 95th and rt. 59. Also you might want to give "Splash of Life" a call, I see them there on occasion and the shop specializes in reef-safe fish such as those.

Aquatica in tinley park had 5 of them last time I saw and they were big too.

The Living Sea in Park Ridge had a ton of them yesterday. They had a Helfrichi firefish for $299.00 if you're feeling fiesty. I was checking out that fish and the purple firefish and I thought the purple looked better and alot cheaper.

Thank you, I will call them. I called pet fun and they said they had one, I went there which is a half hour drive each way and they had a tag that said "purple firefish" on one of there tanks which they were selling for $28 and it was a regular red one which usually sell for $10-$15 anywhere else.

Living sea is such a rip, I seen them out by me for $150.00-$170.00.

They have 2 helfrichi at Deep Reef for $180. A little pricey for me, but your right I think the purple one does look better, and the price tag looks alot better.

The tail end has a beautiful Teal color. There's so much detail that the photos don't show.

Thats a beautiful fish you have don't get me wrong, I just don't think it's $160 more beautiful. I did get one from Aquatica today, pretty nice place and fair prices. I thought it was cool of them to feed all the purple fish fish so I could see them eat and I didn't even ask them to. They even feed the cleaner shimp I bought also. I will post pictures after he's done acclimating.

Yes I have noticed that. They were $19.99, which is the cheapest I have seen them lately.

Living Sea was selling them for $35.00! I never go there but was out in the area and stopped by.
