Purple Firefish! Majano oops!

Purchased a pair of these yesterday, 1 looked sick and beaten up so I removed him and located him in my 24 gallon nanocube. I don't know if they fought for territory? I've never seen this happen before and am lucky enough to even remember to take pictures. He was dead before I snapped these pictures trust me I would've pulled him outta there. I did however find the other fish to be perfectly ok and healthy under a rock in my display tank. So here goes

they laugh at me when I feed them AptasiaX or Joe's Juice, I might try the boiling water injection next. Just have to make sure I boil RO water. The Peppermints don't eat the big one's

Firefish do not coexist long term unless they are a bonded pair. Filefish may or may not eat majanos.
