Purple loripes light and flow needings

I have a 10" of diameter purple loripes colony that does not go purple at all.

It's my only colony that does not have a good color.

It grows a lot, excelent PE, it's with me for over 2 years (since a little 2" frag).

My params are all OK. He is on the TOP od the tank (aprox 1000 PAR).

Shlud I lower a little??

I would go lower, or at least not in the direct light. Good heavy water flow. A stable alk is key and nutrients like NO3, silicates, PO4 will brown Loripes out quick.

My nutrients and PO4 are undetectable. I'll try lower down a bit to see what happens.

i have heard that loripes like low to medium light, and low to medium flow... jus what i have heard/read... GL
