Purple LTA not eating

I got a purple LTA a few weeks ago and he will not eat. He takes the food moves it around then lets it go. At first I thought it was the clown hosting it was removing it but watching it the LTA lets it go. His mouth is closed, he is sticky and hasn't lost any color. Is it because it is shrimp? I have a rbta that eats well. Is the lights the only thing he likes? They are 250 metal halides. His foot is attached. His size is at least 6in.

Is there something I should be doing or is he just happy with how the zoo feeds him?

Is it raw shrimp? Could it be the size of the shrimp? Try chopping it up into small pieces and offering a smaller size.

Thanks. I tried small pieces. Half the size of the the shrimp I am giving the rbta which is half his size. The lta mouth is huge compared to the rbta but that may not mean anything.

The shrimp is raw. Thawed frozen shrimp. Will try the size of a pea later on today.

When should I start to get worried?

Hmm I'm not even sure anemones need food to survive. I had not feed my BTA in months and his tips were very nice and coloration was great. I wouldn't be too concerned unless his mouth starts opening.

Thanks!! Just wanted to make sure. His mouth is closed tight.
