purple monster question

I got a purple monster frag with the intention of having my buddy keep it in his ultrastable SPS tank until mine (a very young tank) stabilized a but better. He's tearing his tank down suddenly so I'm a bit concerned. I've got some SPS doing reasonably well but I'd prefer to have some age on the tank.

What conditions does the PM prefer. High flow high light, or a quiet nook to do its slow thing. I knew I wanted this coral. The opportunity arose, I took it. But now I'm feeling a bit like I've been caught with my pants down for not being better informed and/o prepared.

Need a couple quick tips.

Thanks.

I've got mine about 2/3 down in a 36" deep tank and it seems to do ok. Lights are 400W 14K MHs and the water flow is moderate and random. Note that this is a painfully slow grower and will be one of the first to be effected by less than excellent water parameters.

Its a PAINFULLY slow grower for sure. So slow that i gave up and gave it away. Its great looking as a colony though if you have the patience.
