purple mushroom at frag meet from large jon

when I recieved my two mushrooms from john (for free Thanks again) they were smaller then a quarter. As soon as I recieved them they grew allot. They were both begger then a baseball. Looked so great. Now after they have duplicated they look bad. Very small. All of my other corals look good and my reading are all of the right colors. (sorry did not right down what they actually are) I did add about 130 more pc light compared to 65 w before. I even tryed to lower it in the tank, still no change. What else could I try? I have done two water changes in the last two weeks just to see if it will help. I add Kalkwater as a top off. Thanks for any help

Those things are tough as nails. Sometimes they will stress out and shrink for a couple of days if you make a change to the tank such as a change to the type or amount of lighting, water change, etc. You shouldn't have any problems, but if you do, I know where there are more.

I've cleaned up all my small or loose frags. All the others are attached to my base rock and I can't get 'em out.

John, I really loved the cheato stuff you gave me. Do you think you would have anymore extra at the next swap? I love all of the goodies in it. I might have some extra mangrove plants. If anyone wants some just ask and I will see what I can do. (they can grow big.)

WOW aren't you the optimist! Thank you for the useful comment. And I see by your post count that you have prob. helped 30-40 people by your ingenious comments. WAY TO GO!!!! Just curious because I'm sure you and I haven't meet before. That would lead me to beleve that there may be others interested in saltwater out there in this city and surrounding areas that you haven't met yet either. HOW SHOCKING!!!!! Your comments and arguments as to the "need" of another fish store are as hollow as a strippers ethics. Tell ya what, when you think you have great and helpful comment again, keep them to yourself.
