Purple Orange Tip anemone does anyone have one or pictures or even seen one?

And is it a BTA? Cause it looks bubbly

Just got off the phone with Atlantis and he said that it was a Carpet Anemone.

I dont beleive this is a mertens, the only type of verracruce ive seen on a mertens in wart like, not splotches like that.

I've seen it in person. It's weird. It really looks like a gigantic ricordia (clearly, it's not - it's some kind of anemone), draped over a big rock. I don't think it's a mertens, at least not from the pictures I've seen, but who knows.

I can safely say that it is not one of the clownfish hosting anemone. Other than that, it is impossible to tel from the picture without lots more information. There are so many species of anemones we will never know.

That is all the info I can get.When I had called Atlantis I had asked about it and they said that it was a carpet anemone.I dont know but the anemone is no longer avaible.

When I was in last (several months ago), the nem had a pair of clowns - percs I think - in it. Not that means anything.
