purple pseudo and royal gramma

Could I house a purple pseudo and a royal gramma in a 40 breeder with a smallish amount of live rock? I've always heard conflicting info on the pseudochromis and how they can be aggressive, and how they are docile. But with the similar body shape, and the fact that my tank is focused around one cave, would it be an issue?

Don't even contemplate combining those two species . Bad idea. The Royal Gramma will end up dead for certain.
