purple sea urchin

So in my overzealous haste I bought Mark's purple sea urchin thinking he'd be fine in my tank...and he would be...accept that there's just not enough room for him and he managed to knock over almost all my SPS frags today. (not exactly thrilled) He's absolutely gorgeous, I love the purple coloring on him but I don't so much love having to dig through my sand for tiny little sps frags...so if anyone is interested in him, he's in my sump for the time being. I bought him from Mark for $15 and would just like to get the same back. I'd like to find him a new home asap b/c I don't want him banished to the sump forever.

Glad to hear. I'd love to see pics of him in your tank Sounds just like my freakin' decorator crab...collects and moves EVERYTHING. How are the frags doing too?

Everything is doing great, sun coral opened and has for the most part stays open all the time

Good. hopefully the baby polyps will grow rapidly there too.

Putty is your friend if you have an urchin, for sure. But they're great cleaners.

He is holding them on there LOL pretty funny

The little sticky tentacle things (don't ask me what they are...I don't know the PC name for them for the life of me) are weird looking and he used them to suction on to several things in my tank also. Too bad he didn't decide to pick up my pretty blue mushroom that my stupid decorator crab moved somewhere in in the tank.
