I have a nice stylo in my tank, its one of the fastrer groqwers that i have, its easily doubled in less than a year, if not more. The thing i dont quite yet understand is that when i got it, the ployps were all purple, and only new growth tips were green...now it seesm like the whole coral is green...could be that its growing everywhere, but i was wondergin if it was lacement/light related. right now its at the top of my rock pile, maybe 8" under the water (total guess off the top of my head)
i have an 8 bulb T5 with a mix of Blue+, Coral+, pure actinic, purple plus and a midday sun bulbs. it gets a lot of flow and is always fully open day and night.
will placement have an effect on coloration?

If the coral seems happy, then I would wager the color shift would be a reflection of your lighting color/spectrum versus placement. I would think placement a cause for coral color intensity, not a change in color. Just my thoughts.
