I have a 2-3" purple tang that I have had for about 3 months now. I Qt'ed him and he was in my main tank for 2 weeks. He shortly got a small case of ick and is now back in QT. It looks like most of the ick has cleared (although I recommend QT ing prior to placement in main tank). I can't return him into the main since I already have a yellow tang in there. He eats well, brine, mysis, emerald frozen cubes and grazes on seaweed all day. All foods and seaweed have been soaked in either garlic, zoe or selcon.
I did have him for sale previously but was bombarded with questions and promises to pick him up, got too hectic. You know how it is.
Anyways, if anyone is interested I still have him in my 20 gallon QT. To a good home for a ricordea or colorful mushroom in return, that is it !
