purple tang in a 120g - experiences?

I've had my purple tang in my 48" 150g for 3 years. he's the only tang and I think he would not allow me to add another. I've probably added at least 20 fish since I bought him and he has shown some aggression to new additions, but generally will leave other fish alone after a few days. he's grown really slowly 2"to 4" in 3 years and I feed heavily.

What type of fish have you added after him? All smaller than him of different species? Were they all very docile or could they hold their own? I'm just trying to think if he would terrorize a leopard or bartlett anthias if added after him.
