Purple tang with worms

It appears my Purple tang has a case of intestinal worms. He is eating fine but when he poops some white stringy stuff hangs on for a bit and he is looking a bit skinny.

I was wondering if there are any reef safe ways to treat him or will I need to take him out and put him in a hospital tank...hope not my hospital tank is 10gallons

I read about Anti-Parasite Medicated Fish Food by jungle and it sounds like it would work but I'm having trouble finding information on if its reef safe or not.
