Purple Tipped Green Anemone

I have a Purple Tipped Green Anemone that lately has been more of a tan color. Is that normal?

He has settled into a nice little cave and feeds well, but it seems that his tentacles aren't as long because of how spread out he is.

I am still quite the newbie so I might be over-reacting. Everything else in my tank is definitely thriving and my Nitrates are at 0.

It was a lot greener when I got it.

Could the light be too strong for it? If there is anyway to shade it a bit, I would try to. It looks like the tentacles are shrunken, maybe from too much light.

no, you should try to feed it better food. Feed silversides, raw shrimp, krill, or any kind of meaty sea food will do. You can feed it a bit of mysis shrimp or plankton food a few times a week with a weekly feeding of silversides. Do not give it pieces bigger than its mouth. Keep your water in its best condition by doing water changes and raise your SG to 1.025 or 1.026.

I tend to agree with this assessment, but as I said before, in very small pieces. Like the size of a pencil eraser or smaller.
