You also need lower lighting levels for coralline. I have 130w of PC lighting over a 10g and have never had a speck of coralline grow anywhere. The stuff that comes in on new rocks usually bleaches out. You also need high alk, which I do not have due to the enormous amount of sps and clams in a small volume of water. Coralline likes lower lighting relative to sps, etc.
