Pygmy Angel (Cherub) ich

I have been letting my tank sit fallow for 8 weeks and added my already quarantined clowns (no issues during quarantine) 2 weeks ago and they are doing very well. However I bought a Cherub Angel 3 days ago and put it in my quarantine (glad I have one of those now! instantly payed off in this situation) and today it is showing signs of ich. Actually alot. But it is swimming curiously and pecking at rocks still and eating. I have a bottle of Formalin 3 that I can treat it with. Should I do dips and how so? Or a permanent solution in the tank while its in quarantine?

Dose the tank with copper or drop the salinity down for a hypo treatment. Formalin works, but you can't test the concentration like you can with copper and hypo, so you run the chance of overdosing.

Keep feeding the hell out of it, and actively treat for the condition....in about 3-4 weeks it should be all better and ready for the display.

Nice work on the QT - your experience is the pinnacle of why it's suggested to everyone in this hobby!

If you quarantine for 4 weeks and the fish looks great is there still a chance the fish will get stressed once put in the main tank and get ick again?
