Well much to my dismay I got home last Thursday to find that my last little octo had passed away.
The only up side to an octo's death is that it is time to go looking for the eggs.. True to form she has laid about 20 little eggs in her favorite seashell. At this point the eggs are clearing and the eyes are starting to show. Long story short, in the next few weeks I will have a few extra's and I wanted to offer them to other PMASI members first. I would be willing to part with them after they hatch for just some nice zoa frags. I am definitely looking for some blues and just about any other color zoa that you would not find at Elmers
These guys will only get to about 4"- 5" with about a 1yr life span, and I have had no issues keeping adults 2 or 3 at a time in a 20 gal tank (though many advise against it)
Here is a pic of her in her shell about a month ago.
