pyramid snail on zoo?

I found one pyramid snail on one of my zoo's polyp. It's a size of a rice, I took it off, and found there are some rounded staff as in the picture. Could it be it's egg? Does pyramid snail effect zoo's? how do I remover it if it's egg?

I do have 3 clam in the tank, but it's about 2 ft from where I found the pyramid snail, could it be infected? How do I check and remove it completely?

I'm having a tough time making anything inside your two circles. Since you took the snail out, could you possibly get a shot of just the snail you are talking about?

The type of pyramidellid snails that aquarists find are typically only associated with Tridacnid clams and occasionally with some snails, or feather duster worms. There are snails that specifically prey on zoanthids - but they are shaped quite differently than the snails that plague clams.

there are some rounded, soil color stuff in the circle which i suspect its egg. unfortunately i thrown the snail already. but it's long pyramid shape, size about 2mm.

You would have to physically inspect these at night and pick them off with a tweezer. Try to lightly scrub the gelatinous egg mass off the zoos or clams. Most likely, the snails were introduced with the clams. Check the sides of your clams at night about 4 hrs after all your lights goes off (including room lights). If the clams are unattached, lift & check around the byssal area. If you have substrate, then they could be in the substrate and migrate all over your tank including the zoos.
I find that with the manual removal, having a predator also helps. I purchased a small H. Chrysus (Yellow Coris Wrasse) to prey on the parasitic snails. He does a great job hunting them down during the day, but he goes to sleep once my MH lights goes off. That's why the manual inspection & removal at night is still neccessary.
If you decide on a predator, I looked into the 3 following, but chose the Yellow Coris:
Yellow Coris Wrasse, "Juvenile" Red Coris Wrasse (you need to remove him once he starts the transformation to an adult), Six Line Wrasse.
I think others have had success with other types of wrasses such as the Leopard Wrasse.
