Pyramid snails on snails

So i know i've seen this subject here before----so,,,i have Trochus snails that have lots of pyramid snails on them.
If i get a clam, will these snails infest it??

there are about 10000 different types of pyrams. some feed only on clams, some feed on clams and snails, , some on other things. so its hard to tell. remove them just like you would on a clam and when there gone you can feel some what safe getting a clam
