pyramid snails

I believe I have pyramid snails, and would like to know how to get rid of them. These are the small snails that have a spiral shell andare known to prasitize clams. Anyone have any suggestions??? - other than hand picking them off? I have not physically seen them on my clam, but they have clustered at the base of him. They are also in my rock now. Should I just bite the bullet and get new rock and sand-- i am alread upgrading in a few weeks.

they tend to stay at the base of the clam during the day and climb up under the mantle to feed at night. there is only one way to get rid of them and that is to manually remove them and any eggs sacs every day. you can gradually decrease the frequency when you start to notice a large decrease in population
