pyramid snails

im wanting to add a few clams to my reef but yesterday i was moving some frags around on my frag rack and on the bottom of one of the disks there were some tiny snails with a black and white checker pattern. are these pyramid snails?

Most likely not. Usually pyramids are straight white. There are some that are brown and white, but they are pretty rare. Might be a sundial snail though. Sun dials are bad and you would want to remove it.

i agree not pyramids and as the others have said, a picture will help greatly with identification.

could be a mini turbo also...those are pretty common and shouldn't harm anything...but as the others have stated a pic will be the clincher.

i couldnt get a cla=ear pic of them but i did a little research and they look nothing like pyram snails, not sure what they are but if i get a clear shot ill post it
