Just looking for a little advice here...

I've had a Derasa for about 6 months and a croeca for 2. I routinely inspect them for snails. Well... today I found 3. Not a lot but scary none the less.

I do have a 6 line wrasse and the tank is small (40B). Should I be concearned or just keep being proactive? Will the 6 line keep them under control?

wrasse's will be innefective, those fish are diurnal and pyram's are nocturnal. you need to start picking the snails off and make sure to look for egg sac's at the same time.

Sorry about hijacking this thread but I have a question for others who have had experience with these pest snails. Have you even seen them on the glass of your tank at night or do they purely stay in the sand and on clams?

I've recently discovered these on a maxima clam of mine and I'm in the process of removing them manually however I see what appears to be the same snails on the glass of my frag tank at night as well. The frag tank and the display tank are part of the same system of water but the frag tank does not have any clams and only has one snail (an untouched astrea).
