Q on Diver's Den Fish

I have read before that fish are only added to the Diver's Den after they are appearing "healthy" and "Fish that are posted on the Divers Den are eating prepared foods and are well adjusted to captive conditions". I just wanted to make sure that this means the Mandarin fish offered on Diver's Den are eating frozen foods or if live foods (pods, etc) are considered in some way "prepared"? Does this also apply to other fish that are difficult to get to eat non-live foods? Is it possible to find out what foods a specific fish is eating?

Thanks,

Bob

Braendead,

Thank you for your interest in our beautiful Divers’ Den fish. The Mandarins on Divers’ Den have been weaned onto frozen Mysis Shrimp. The Red Mandarins tend to be hardier and easier to wean onto frozen foods than their Green counterparts. The vast majority of our Divers’ Den fish are trained to eat frozen Brine Shrimp and Mysis Shrimp. We are always happy to supply information on the diet of any of our Divers’ Den specimens. If there is any other matter we may assist you with, please don’t hesitate to ask.
